As an NRL fan, nothing gets Fox Sports rugby league commentator Mark Geyer more fired up for the season than picking his Fantasy NRL side.
Geyer, a Fantasy NRL veteran, knows how important it is to nail his side at the start of the season, and he follows certain guidelines to help him achieve the best results.
“A lot of what I’m doing this year is based on last year’s performances,” Geyer told foxsports.com.au.
“Personally, I think you’ve got to look at blokes who play 80 minutes and then have a look at their production rate.
“You can get paralysis by analysis if you get into it too much, but I also pick young players that I think are going to come through and make it.
“You’ve got to take a few risks but mostly you just go on what players have done and what they’re going to do.
